  • Welcome to the group! From the other groups to which you belong, I see that you have varied interests from artistic activities to Mah Jongg. I just finished the fall program for the Y, and we now offer ceramics, Intro to Drawing (with a fantastic new teacher), and evening cooking classes, among many more. The guide should be up soon on www.centralqueensy.org. Hope to see you at a meetup event or a Y program soon!

  • Hi Anna, Welcome to Ladies Who Code! I really admire those who teach programming. It takes not only a great deal of skill, but also a great deal of patience. We're so glad to have you joining us. I'll let you know if the wait list opens up, and more spots become available. At the moment it looks like it will. Hope to see you soon!

  • Hi Anna,

Welcome to the Queens Mah Jongg Group. It's my intention that the game be friendly, not for money but to have fun. Hope you can join us at our planning meeting on May 4th.

  • I am very happy to hear that Anna G. You Know What? You have, in fact, joined the right group. You will meet and make new friends doing guess what? That's right-Walking! Walking is everyone's most favorite exercise. Walking is also the best and easiest exercise. Walking is also good for the mind, body and spirit. Walking, Talking, and Socializing are exactly what this really great group is all about. So, Welcome to the group, Anna G.

  • Hello, I would have posted more specific directions if I were aware of them myself. The address I posted is where the monthly 2600 meetings have been held for quite some time. As I just moved to the area, it was going to be my first attended monthly meeting, too, had I not gotten sick. My apologies.
