Maybe we all should conserve our brain power to build a solid
framework to keep Microsoft drowning us with their Technologies
(Lightswitch,Razor, etc...). :)

Think of taking advantage of this offer as a kind of mental puzzle
for developers -- you apparently had to *really* want to take advantage of it
and have the perseverance to figure out the trick to redeeming the code
:)

It's
still worth the purchase. It's almost 5 stars rating on
Amazon!
I have
it loaded on my Itouch with Goodreader for my mobile
reading.
The pdf
file is about 11M of content. Just finished my 1st chap and still have
26 more chapters to go. :)
Thanks

Even for an NHibernate committer like myself, there is still a
desire to keep a watchful eye on the competition -- and in the .NET
ORM space, that competition is (of course) Entity
Framework. Trying to keeping an eye on all the technologies
coming out of Microsoft can often seem like a losing battle, but in
this case there is at least an offer that can make it just about
dirt-cheap to catch up in this one area: O'Reilly Books'
"Deal of the Day" today is Programming Entity Framework, Second
Edition (and as we all know, the number "2" in Microsoft-speak
is pronounced "four" so this book covers EF4). Its being
offered for just $9.99 and at that price this book is just about too
good to pass up if you have been looking for a way to ramp up on
just WTF the Entity Framework is all about. I'm still pretty
certain that after evaluating EF4 the sane developers among us will
return to leveraging the power of a more mature ORM (like
NHibernate!), but for a mere $10 you can at least use this offer to
bulk up on competitive knowledge of what the 'other' ORM is up
to. Link to order page: http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596807269Discount
