RE: [nyaltnet] Employment Opportunity

I’m on the side that thinks this is good for the group, so J

Perhaps we can also have some sort of keyword that must appear in the subject of the email so that those who don’t want to get these can filter them into junk.  Something as simple as [job] might do…

Subject: [nyaltnet] Employment Opportunity

All:

Since the results of the "should we or shouldn't we" poll on permitting job postings to the group was just about split down the middle, we have decided that if the job posting meets the following criteria we will permit it:

  1. Must be for the nearby regional area
  2. Must include a detailed description of the position and responsibilities
  3. Must be for a NAMED company (not anonymous)
  4. Must be NOT via a recruiter

Even though the following posting is for the Washington, DC area, owing to present economic conditions we are expanding the definition of 'regional' in this case to range from the Washington DC metro area to the south to the Boston metro area in the north.

If you aren't interested in this job posting, please simply delete it from your inbox. We will continue to permit postings of similarly-detail opportunities to this mailing list as a courtesy to our membership that may be presently unemployed.
